Hi, I’m Carly, and I’m passionate about using design as a tool to improve the built and urban environment. My love for urban planning and design stems from a desire to advocate for stronger and more connected communities, while creating a sense of place.
I believe meaningful design begins with public engagement. Working directly with communities has strengthened my commitment to shaping inclusive spaces and creating a positive impact on how people experience their environment. It’s also sparked my passion for public relations, where I’m driven by connecting with people and ensuring their voices help guide the planning process.
Outside of work I enjoy the sweet, simple things in life like a nice evening walk, time out in nature, a calming cup of tea, a nice book, quality time with friends and family, meeting new people, and any type of adventure.
